New Brand Implementation

The Field Museum is one of Chicago’s great icons. As its 125th anniversary was approaching, the Museum rebranded to reinforce its role as a strong, forward-thinking scientific institution.

Bark worked closely with the Field on implementing their new brand throughout member and donor materials, as well as collateral celebrating their 125th anniversary.

Kudos to Leo Burnett Department of Design for creating a bold new brand.

Founders' Council Membership Materials

The Founders’ Council is the Field Museum’s premier annual giving donor society. We created materials that include an overview of opportunities provided with membership in the society, an honor roll of donors, and materials for joining the Founders’ Council.

The square format of the materials echo the shape of the new logo and reinforce the new brand.

2017 Annual Report

The 2017 Annual Report to Donors was one of the first looks at the new brand for Museum donors. The textured cover and aerial image pay homage to their new tagline, “Earth. We’re on it.” The annual highlights the Museum’s commitment to science and public engagement, as well as gratitude for its donors who continue to make conservation, collections, and exhibits possible for us all.

In The Field Members Magazine

In The Field is the Museum’s member magazine sent out bi-annually. In the Summer 2018 issue, the Museum talked about the new brand and how it galvanizes the Field as a dynamic, forward-thinking scientific leader. The bold design reflects the strength and clarity of the Museum’s mission.

125th Anniversary Celebration Materials

125 years is a historic accomplishment for the Museum and to celebrate this anniversary the Field has launched its most ambitious funding initiative in history. Bark has been creating materials for the campaign, “Because Earth,” which also reinforce the Museum’s commitment to conservation, discovery, exploration, inspiration, and leadership.
